America will provide $ 150 million in Egypt to alleviate the economic losses and to support democratic transitions --- أمريكا ستقدم لمصر 150 مليون دولار لتخفيف خسائرها الاقتصادية ودعم التحولات الديمقراطية

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on February 17 that Ashentunn will provide $ 150 million in additional aid to Egypt to support its economy, which suffered significant losses as a result of recent events and to push forward democratic changes there forward.
And Clinton's announcement coincided with the decision of the Supreme Council of the Egyptian armed forces personnel of public institutions to grant special allowance rate of 15% of basic salary, with effect from the beginning of April next, as well as to increase civilian and military pensions payable on 31 March next.
The size of this American military aid to Egypt, 1.3 billion dollars a year, and spoke to some reports, during the "youth revolution" for the last possibility that Washington re-consideration of this assistance under the load of the Egyptian regime responsible for the events in the country.
Some were taken by the Arab media about an Arab diplomatic source said Saudi Arabia is considering the possibility of providing aid to Egypt instead of the assistance provided by the United States if Washington decided to cut down. According to other reports, quoting Arab diplomatic sources said Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the UAE is considering providing aid worth 5 billion dollars to the Egyptian army in the event Washington decides to stop its assistance.

أعلنت وزيرة الخارجية الأمريكية هيلاري كلينتون يوم 17 فبراير/شباط أن واشنطنن ستقدم 150 مليون دولار كمساعدات إضافية لمصر لدعم اقتصادها الذي تكبد خسائر كبيرة نتيجة للأحداث الأخيرة ولدفع التحولات الديمقراطية هناك الى الامام.

وتزامن إعلان كلينتون مع قرار المجلس الأعلى للقوات المسلحة المصرية بمنح موظفي المؤسسات العامة علاوة خاصة نسبتها 15% من الأجر الأساسي، اعتباراً من أول أبريل/نيسان المقبل، إضافة إلى زيادة المعاشات المدنية والعسكرية المستحقة في 31 مارس/ آذار المقبل.

هذا ويبلغ حجم المساعدات الأمريكية العسكرية لمصر 1،3 مليار دولار سنويا، وتحدث بعض التقارير ابان "ثورة الشباب" الأخيرة  عن احتمال ان تعيد واشنطن نظرها في هذه المساعدات في ظل تحميل النظام المصري مسؤولية الأحداث التي شهدتها البلاد .

ونقلت بعض وسائل الإعلام العربية عن مصدر دبلوماسي عربي أن السعودية تدرس إمكانية تقديم مساعدات لمصر بدل المساعدات التي تقدمها الولايات المتحدة في حال قررت واشنطن قطعها. وتشير تقارير أخرى نقلا عن مصادر دبلوماسية عربية أن السعودية والكويت والإمارات تبحث تقديم مساعدات بقيمة  5 مليارات دولار للجيش المصري في حال قررت واشنطن وقف مساعداتها له.
